"Lovely place to eat. We had the carvery and it was delicious. The service was excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. My wine glass had a mark on it - it can happen anywhere - so the waitress took it back to the barman and I watched him as he checked it, set it to one side and poured me a fresh glass of wine into a fresh glass. I have seen the wine simply transferred into another glass in other places but not here. We would definitely go back if we were in the area."

"This restaurant was recommended to us by our B&B host, and we are so glad we went! The food and service were tremendous. Every single member of the wait staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. They went out of their way for us on multiple occasions. I ordered the haddock and chips and it was perfect. The outside was crispy and light and the inside was flaky and fresh and delicious. The tartar sauce was homemade. My husband ordered the highland chicken with whisky sauce and it was tender and moist and flavorful. He ate every bite! We shared the Biscoff tart and it was so good we want to bring it back to the U.S. with us. One of the best desserts we’ve ever had. 10/10 experience."

"This came highly recommended after viewing Culloden Battlefield. Service was top notch. The serving portion were very large and cooked to perfection. Wife had Haddock and chips while I had the steak and (H)alo pie. Other at the table ( no pics ) steak burger, onions rings, lintel soup. Worth taking a stop for a meal."

"Bar food at its best! Visiting the area we passed this place, reviews were pretty decent, so we decided to give it a go. You will not be disappointed, food was good, reasonable prices, decent portion size. I had haggis balls for a starter, Macaroni and cheese for main, wife had Scampi and chips, and sticky toffee pudding for desert, we both loved it! Book marked this place for when I’m in the area"
